Junior to Watch: Aaron Harper

Position: Running Back/Free Safety
Size and Speed: Harper stands 6-foot-1, weighs 190 pounds, and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds.
Honors: Aaron made the all-independence league team as a sophomore.
Statistics: As a junior Harper is averaging over 100 yards a game and has scored eight touchdowns. As a free safety he had two interceptions in the last game. He is also a threat as a kick returner and returned a kickoff in the last game for nearly 100 yards.
Favorite Schools: Although just a junior, Harper has already begun to receive lots of letters, but currently lists no favorites. His coach, Bob Wagner, sees him as an Air Force type and would like to see him in Colorado in two years.
Skinny:
“He is very strong,” Coach Wagner commented. “He is the hardest worker I have seen in my 35 years of coaching. He is a tremendous leader, and definitely a D-I athlete.
“He is a gentleman. One of the nicest kids I have seen in my career. I have connections at Air Force, and he would really fit in there. I just can’t say enough about him.”
Harper is an excellent student and maintains a 3.0 GPA.
