Springdale, Pa., defensive tackle Devin Cox has racked up his first three scholarship offers, according to his father, Bruce Cox.
The 6-foot-2, 269-pound Cox performed well at the State College NIKE Training Camp and was also an attendee at the Rivals.com Junior Day in Chicago. At the NIKE Camp, Cox had a shuttle time of 4.78 seconds, put up 185 pounds 22 times and had a vertical leap of 25.8 inches.
Those physical feats, along with strong play on the field has allowed him to pick up offers from Army, Hofstra and Towson State. He's also getting attention from others, too.
"He's still getting hand-written letters from Navy, West Virginia, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Kent State and Temple," his father said.
