PA DE has all the goods

Exeter (Pa.) Wyoming Area defensive end/linebacker Tom Nocera is ready to make the move from defensive end to linebacker. Nocera is drawing interest from a group of big programs and he has some favorites as well.
"I have been playing defensive end my whole career but most schools like me as a linebacker. Honestly, I don't care where I play as long as I get an opportunity to play," said the 6-foot-4, 225-pound defensive player who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds.

Who is showing interest in Nocera?
"I am being recruited by Pitt, Penn State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Purdue, and Army. My coach said that more and more teams are requesting film."
Nocera already has a top four.
"The schools that stick out to me are Penn State, Maryland, Pitt, and Virginia Tech. Maryland is the school that is recruiting me the hardest."
Last season, Nocera racked up over 60 tackles, four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble. What does Nocera plan to work on this offseason to prepare himself for playing on the college level?
"The two biggest things for me are getting my weight up and speed. I would like to play at 240 pounds and I want to be able to stay in the 4.5 second range in the 40-yard dash."
Nocera currently has a 3.0 GPA and will take the SAT in May.
