PA backer is focused on the season

Aliquippa, Pa. linebacker Brandon Lindsey is focusing on the upcoming season. The 6-foot-2, 220-pounder is looking to help his team to state this season and in an effort to do that he's putting recruiting on the backburner.
"We had a scrimmage yesterday and tied one to one," he said. "I think I did pretty well out there on offense and defense. I finished the game with 12 tackles and had 60 yards rushing on six carries. I can tell I'm much stronger, faster and more focused than last season, but I still want to work on my pass coverage."

Lindsey and Aliquippa kick off the season in a week and a half.
"I think if our team plays right we should be in the state playoffs this year."
Though he isn't focusing on recruiting, the three-star prospect is starting to think about official visits.
"I want to go to Ohio State for an official," he said. "I'm probably looking to go to Boston College, Maryland, Michigan and Iowa too although I'm not totally sure. I like that all those schools are competitive and they have a history of potentially playing freshmen. They also have good graduation rates."
Lindsey has made it certain he will visit Ohio State, but he claims no team is leading.
"I'm wide open," he said. "I'll probably take all five official visits after the season and then make a decision close to Signing Day."
