Pa ATH chooses Buckeyes

Ohio State has picked up their second commitment in as many days. The Buckeyes have pulled Malik Hooker out of New Castle (Pa.) New Castle Senior.
"I've committed to Ohio State," said the 6-foot-2, 183-pound Hooker. "I sat down with my coach and my family and I just felt ready to commit. I talked to Coach Urban Meyer and I'm going to play safety for them."

Michigan, Pittsburgh, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Penn State were the other schools in Hooker's top six but he felt the Buckeyes were the team for him
"I feel like I can fit in the system well," he said. "I love the school. When I think about Ohio State I get a great feeling. I like their staff. I haven't met any of their players but I really like their staff. They were recruiting me really hard."
Hooker has only been to Columbus once but it seems like that was enough.
"I went to a camp out there but only got to see the field," he said. "I'll probably get out there again some time soon."
Hooker was one of the top offensive performers at the National Select 7-on-7 tournament in Hoover, Alabama last week.
