Owens readjusts officials
Three-star tight end Drew Owens out of Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell has scheduled three official visits. Where is the 6-foot-5, 227-pounder headed?
"I got three officials in mind, NC State on October 9th, Michigan on October 16th and South Carolina on the 30th," he said. "These are three of the schools I'm narrowing in on. It could change as I'm trying to work in a visit to North Carolina.

"I am probably going to take one to Clemson too."
Virginia Tech was previously in the mix as well, are they still in consideration?
"For right now I'm basically focused on these five."
NC State is currently first on the agenda, what is he hoping to see on that visit?
"I want to see them continue to play well," he said. "They are playing amazing this year."
Meanwhile, on the field, Owens is having a big season as he has posted 15 receptions for 220-yards and three touchdowns.
"We are doing really well this season, I'm playing well," he said. "Most definitely I've improved with the change of our coaching staff, my blocking and route running is better."
