According to Floyd he has scholarship offers from ten schools like Auburn, South Florida, Central Florida, Iowa State, Troy and Kansas. Right now one team stands out.

"I grew up a Hurricanes fan but they have not offered yet," Floyd said. "Right now Auburn is number one. I like their tradition and they are a winning program. I think I can come in and make an impact there. I like the coaches and they love me. I think I fit their new scheme really well too.
"But honestly, I am just really trying hard to figure out a plan on how to do this thing (recruiting). I want to get real serious with it at the end of the summer after hopefully some more offers and just go from there. I really feel like I will have a better idea in about a month."
Floyd did camp at Miami early this summer and also took an unofficial visit to Florida State. Both were good experiences for Floyd.
"The Miami camp was back in June and it was a great camp. I talked with all the coaches and met with coach (Randy) Shannon. We had a good talk. They actually like me as a tight end. They may offer this fall.
"I actually went to Florida State for a basketball camp and just took an unofficial (visit) there. I met the football coaches and hung out with a bunch of players. I think they are close to offering."
Floyd has set up an official visit to Auburn (9-19).
