Ousley ends recruiting process

Merry Christmas, Golden Hurricane fans. One of the Tulsa’s top players is staying at home to play his college football.
Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington three-star receiver Damahco Ousley has committed to Tulsa, picking the Golden Hurricane over offers from Missouri, Colorado, Oklahoma State and Texas A&M. LSU was also showing heavy interest. Many assumed that Ousley was a Missouri lean, but an official visit to Tulsa this weekend changed all that.

“I committed to Tulsa because I feel like they are the best team for me,” Ousley, who is 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, said. “It’s close to home, and I know that I can go in there and have a good shot at playing really early.”
Ousley also pointed out that moving to Conference USA and planned upgrades in Tulsa’s facilities were other reasons why he picked the Golden Hurricane.
“The coaches were really pumped,” he said. “Guess they’ll have a Merry Christmas now.”
