“Coach (Bob) Stoops and Coach (Chuck) Long were awesome,” Grady said. “Actually the entire coaching staff are all awesome.”
“USC, UCLA and all the schools that I was interested in were still in the picture until I decided to make the decision,” Grady said. “I just wanted to get the decision over with before the season started so I can concentrate on my senior season.”
Grady begins his season in on week on September 6th.
“I’m looking forward to my senior season,” Grady said. “We have new players who I think are going to help, Andy Avila is one of them.”
Grady is also a great baseball player and he could get drafted next spring.
Is baseball going to be part of Grady’s future?
“I don’t think so,” Grady said. “I am looking forward to getting to Norman to continue my education and play football.”
Grady threw for 2,750 yards and 33 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions as a junior while he completed 60% of his passes during the 2001 season. Grady was selected all-state, all-CIF, all-area, all-county and offensive Player of the Year for his league.
