OT Wright takes a visit

Offensive tackle Chasz Wright took an unofficial visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-7, 274-pounder plans to take another trip soon to one of his other scholarships.
"Yesterday, I just finished a visit to NC State," he said. "It was good even though they lost to Virginia. They are still a good football team and I was impressed with the coaches. I got to see a bit of the weight room and the facilities."

For Wright, it was his first trip to Raleigh.
"It didn't really surprise me at all," he said. "I was happy to see Coach Willis again though. I got to meet some of the offensive line coaches there."
Wright is working on more trips.
"My next visit will be to Penn State for the game against Wisconsin," he said. "I plan to take all five of my officials and I think my first official will be to NC State."
No date has been set for the official yet.
One new school is moving in more for Wright as well.
"I've been in contact with Coach Thomsen from Texas Tech," he said. "We've been talking on and off and he's gone over my core GPA. If they offered, that would be pretty big, it would possibly change a lot of things for me."
Wright and C.D. Hylton are headed into the playoffs.
"Everything is going great, we just had our last regular season game," he said. "I think I played well this year. I'm playing both ways and I've had to break up my conditioning. I'm working really hard and everything pays off overall.
"I can tell I'm making a lot of changes with how I study my opponents and I'm better at breaking down film and watching film. I'm becoming a student of the game."
