OT Timothy up to four scholies

Offensive tackle Gifford Timothy out of Middletown, Dela. already holds four scholarships. Who has pulled the trigger on the 6-foot-6, 288-pounder so far and does he have any leaders?
"I've got four offers from Rutgers, Maryland, Boise State and BYU," he said. "It's pretty cool to get all this interest."

Does Timothy like anyone?
"I'm looking a lot into BYU and Penn State," he said. "Both of them have good coaching staffs, a big point for BYU that helps is that I'm Mormon.
"With Penn State, their staff is great and the atmosphere there is great too."
So far, Timothy has visited two schools.
"I've been to Penn State and Maryland," he said. "Penn State is a real cool place to be on a Saturday. I think I'm headed to Rutgers and Maryland for junior days coming up."
The lineman prospect is looking for a few things in a college.
"The big points for me are the whole coaching staff, I have to like them," he said. "I also want a good education. I want to do physical therapy. Also schools have to be ok with me doing a two-year mission, so far the schools that have offered me are fine with it when I turn 19."
Lots of other schools are interested as well including Tennessee, Pittsburgh, North Carolina, Northwestern and Illinois.
Timothy helped his team to a 10-2 record on his way to second team all-state honors.
"I think my pass blocking is my biggest strength. That's my strongest point, I am working to get a bit stronger. I think my feet could get quicker too."
Recently Timothy participated in the U.S. Army combine as well.
