Offers are rolling in for Roxboro (N.C.) Person offensive tackle Tre Robertson. The 6-foot-5, 317-pounder has pulled in three scholarships to date and plenty of others are interested.
"East Carolina, Kansas and Ohio have offered in the past month," he said. "I really like East Carolina cause they have a great football program and are a great school. I like where they are located at."
Other schools are interested in the lineman prospect.
"North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, NC State, Clemson, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Duke, Miami (Ohio) and Wake Forest are showing interest," he said. "They all tell me to come down to their camps, so that they can see how I do."
Obviously Robertson plans to camp and has a few schools in mind.
"I plan on going to East Carolina, UNC, NC State, South Carolina, Duke, Wake Forest and maybe Clemson."
With plenty of interest coming in, does the lineman like anyone?
"I'm a big fan of North Carolina," he said. "I just like everything about them, the football team and school. I've been going to their games and visiting the school. I like walking around there."
Meanwhile, what does Robertson want in a school?
"I want to go where they have a good location, I'm looking at North Carolina, Virginia and South Carolina," he stated. "I also want a good football program. I want a good education and somewhere that makes me feel like family."
Robertson earned first team all-conference for the second year in a row as a junior.
