Officer is excited about the interest.
"It's pretty cool to have offers, I'm pretty excited about it," he said. "Hopefully, I'll get a chance to play college football somewhere. I was a little surprised the schools offered so early, but I thought they'd offer eventually. They both think I'm a pretty big and strong kid."
Officer just came off a trip to Syracuse on Friday.
So, what does he think of the two offers?
"I like these schools, they are good schools that are close to home."
Officer and Eastridge Senior have concluded the season.
"We had a pretty good season, I had a really good year," he said. "I thought I really improved from last year, my technique was better."
