OT Kouandjio adds a big offer

Offers are beginning to pile up for Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha offensive tackle Arie Kouandjio. The 6-foot-5, 310-pounder picked up a big offer from the Big Ten on Wednesday. Who is it from and what does he think?
"I got an offer from Penn State," he said. "I was very happy when I found out about it. My coach came into my class and told me about the offer."

What does he think of Penn State?
"Every college sticks out to me, but Penn State is pretty good," he stated. "I like how old fashioned they are. They like to play hardnosed, old fashioned, tough football.
"I did call the coaches back yesterday and I really like my recruiter. He sounds really interested in me."
Kouandjio is being recruited by Larry Johnson from Penn State, a man who has had a great deal of success in Maryland. He currently maintains there are no set visits coming up in the near future and no leaders at this time.
One other school just pulled the trigger as well.
"Wake Forest just offered me," he said. "I've been talking to their coaches lately. They checked out my film this week. I don't know too much about them though."
