OT Johnson draws two more offers

Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park junior offensive line prospect Ramone Johnson (6-foot-5, 307 pounds) has added two additional scholarship offers over the last week. Johnson also clears up some rumors regarding his latest scholarship offers and more.
"I've added scholarship offers this week from Iowa State and Oregon," Johnson said. "The coaches from Oregon were in school today (Tuesday) along with the coaches from USC. The coaches from Michigan are also scheduled to make an in school visit tomorrow morning according to my head coach (Lexie Spurlock)."
Johnson talked his latest offers from the Cyclones and the Ducks.
"The coaches from Oregon were in school today, and they told my coach that they were really impressed with my junior tape, so they decided to offer me a scholarship. I don't know a ton about Oregon except that they have a really good football program and that they play in the PAC-10 conference. I'm definitely excited to get an offer from Oregon."
"Iowa State has been kind of quiet until now. I didn't get a ton of mail from them, but they called my coach today at school and told him that they are offering me a scholarship. I know that Iowa State plays in the Big 12 conference, which is another great football conference. I'll definitely check out what Iowa State has to offer and I'm very grateful for the scholarship offer. It's truly a blessing."
Johnson also talked about an earlier published report that he's received a scholarship offer from the University of Tennessee this spring.
"As far as I know I haven't been offered anything from Tennessee. I had a call from some recruiting guy not with the school that said Tennessee was offering a scholarship and that the paperwork was coming in the mail. That was about two weeks ago, and I received a hand-written letter today from Tennessee but that's been all. I'm very interested in Tennessee no doubt, but I still don't have any offer from Tennessee as far as I know."
Johnson is also very fired up about the Nike Camp in Ann Arbor this Saturday.
"I'll admit that at first I had some reservations about going to Nike Camp, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to just go and compete. I'm really fired up about the camp on Saturday."
