OT Henderson sees interest pick up

Recruiting is picking up for Washington (D.C.) H.D. Woodson offensive tackle Ramsey Henderson. The 6-foot-5, 308-pounder still holds one scholarship, but has a number of Division I schools picking up their interest.
"Right now my only offer is from Delaware State," he said. "I am getting interest from East Carolina, UAB, NC State and I got a handwritten letter the other day from Rutgers.

"They all say they need me to put together a four game highlight tape, so I plan to do that after the next game."
Henderson wants to visit at least a couple schools relatively soon.
"I want to take another visit back down to East Carolina," he said. "I want to visit Delaware State too. I went to East Carolina before for the spring game."
Those two schools have caught the tackle's interest early.
"It's still hard to decide, Delaware State is my only offer and I like the program East Carolina runs," he said. "They are good schools, but I want to wait it out."
On the season, Woodson picked up a victory on Friday over Roosevelt. In the meantime, Henderson feels he's improving as a player.
"I feel I've improved as my footwork is better and I make good downfield blocks," he said. "I'm more focused and determined this year."
