OT Harris on the verge of more offers

One offer is in for Upper Marlboro (Md.) Wise offensive tackle Antonio Harris. The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder believes more offers are likely coming. Who's intrigued by the lineman at this time?
"I have one offer from Old Dominion," he said. "It sticks out a lot."

Harris claims a few schools are very close to pulling the trigger.
"I had a bad ninth grade year and so a lot of schools are waiting for my SAT," he said. "If I get an 850 on the SAT they'll offer.
"I know Boston College said they are waiting, Rutgers is waiting, Illinois, Delaware and Maryland."
Speaking of Maryland, Harris recently tripped to the school.
"On spring break I went there and watched practice," he said. "I like their offense. Also, my cousin is Coach Locksley. I like what he is doing up there and I'm not that close to him, but he wants me there."
Harris plans to take a trip to Rutgers sometime soon.
Do any schools stick out?
"I'm liking all the schools I named," he said. "I've just got to see which one I love. Old Dominion and Maryland are at the top. Old Dominion is because of the offer. Maryland is close and that's a really big reason. I already know the environment pretty well and it would be an easier process."
Harris is coming off a strong junior season, one that saw him earn all-county, metro and state honors.
"I think I did great," he said. "I just got to be more consistent, so I can be one of the best in the state.
"I don't think there is anybody that can beat me run blocking. There is nobody I can't block there, but I've got to work on my pass blocking. We don't do it a lot and I've got to keep working on that."
