OT Greer is one to watch

Rocky Mount (Va.) Franklin County School offensive tackle Shaun Greer is gaining interest. The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder is hearing from a number of Division I schools across the East Coast.
"I'm aware of Virginia, East Carolina, Boston College, a bit out of Tech, a bit out of Tennessee, James Madison and I've gotten letters from Duke," he said. "I'm getting a lot of mail and a bunch of junior day and spring game invites."

Greer headed out to one school a couple weeks back.
"I went to Connecticut two weeks ago," he said. "That was pretty good, it was nice."
Without any clear favorites, Greer touched on what he wants in a college.
"I want a good atmosphere, decent academics at least. I don't want to put my future all in sports."
Greer had a solid junior season that saw him earn first team all-district, first team all-region and second team all-state in his first year starting.
