OT Gilbert schedules two officials

Rivals250 offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert out of Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas took an unofficial visit to Tallahassee last weekend and witnessed North Carolina State's surprising upset of the Seminoles. What did the 6-foot-6, 270-pounder think of both teams?
"I never knew Florida State had such good facilities there, the coaches are great and I like the depth and tradition they have," he said. "The game was a real shocker. I haven't gotten an offer from Florida State, but hopefully they'll pick up soon. Coach Lilly told me he'll get back in touch with me and keep me posted.

"I saw in the game that North Carolina State has a really good team too. The game didn't determine anything for me, but I know if I went to NC State I'd play on the defensive line and they are really dominant and have a wonderful defensive line coach."
Currently, Gilbert is wide open amongst the schools he's looking at which includes Miami, Florida, North Carolina State, LSU and Auburn.
So far the four-star prospect has scheduled two officials with his leaders, Florida on January 15th and Miami on January 29th.
This season Gilbert has helped St. Thomas Aquinas to an 8-0 record.
"We're undefeated and our team is working together hard to get back to the championship," he said. "I've learned from my mistakes and I think I'm averaging something like 10 pancakes a game. I can see that I improved a lot as far as my vision and picking up on blitzes."
