OT Geathers focusing on the playoffs

Rivals100 offensive tackle Clifton Geathers out of Carvers Bay, S.C. isn't any closer to deciding on official visits. The 6-foot-7, 280-pounder instead is focusing on the season still as the 9-2 Bears take on Hanahan.
"He's playing excellent this year and getting after it even more," said Carvers Bay head coach Nate Thompson. "He's a lot more confident in himself this year. He pushes others just as much as himself and he's blocking even better on the line and downfield. He's pulling and covering ground, that's a big reason why we have over 2,000 yards rushing."

Geathers season hasn't gone unnoticed as he was named to the All-American bowl and the Shrine Bowl.
As for recruiting, Thompson confirmed his four-star prospect has no leaders.
"He hasn't made up his mind on where to go for officials or even who he's looking at," he said. "He's happy to just concentrate on football and he'll work on setting up visits after the season with his family."
