OT Dorrestein draws his third offer

Plainfield (Ill.) Central junior offensive tackle prospect Perry Dorrestein (6-foot-6, 283 pounds) landed his third scholarship offer this spring last Friday morning from Western Michigan University.
"The coaches from Western Michigan called my head coach (John Jackson) on Friday morning," Dorrestein said. "The Western Michigan coaches told Coach Jackson that they were extending me a scholarship offer."

Dorrestein talked about landing his third offer from the Broncos.
"It's awesome to get another offer, especially from Western Michigan. I had a chance on Friday to call the coaches at Western Michigan and we had a really good talk. The coaches said that I was one of the Top 10 guys on the overall recruiting list, and that is always good to hear from any school. I know that not too long ago Western Michigan was a real power in the MAC conference. I've also heard that the campus at Western Michigan is beautiful, and that the Broncos have some pretty impressive facilities. Western Michigan has a new coaching staff in place and they seem very positive that they will get things turned around quickly. I'm hoping to be able to make an unofficial visit there this summer."
Dorrestein has been working hard to get ready for his upcoming summer camps.
"My first camp this summer will be at Northwestern on June 10th, then I'm also planning to camp at Notre Dame and Purdue. I just can't wait to get out there and show the coaches what I can do this summer."
Perry Dorrestein currently has offers from Western Michigan, Toledo and Northern Illinois.
