OT Donahue draws his first offer

Naperville (Ill.) Central offensive tackle prospect Tyler Donahue (6-foot-6, 251 pounds) made his second college camp appearance this summer count. Donahue attended a one-day camp last Sunday at Bowling Green State University and walked away with his first scholarship offer this summer.
"I've camped at Indiana and Bowling Green so far this summer," Donahue said. "I was asked to visit with the coaches at Bowling Green after it's one-day camp last Sunday was completed. The coaches from Bowling Green then offered me a scholarship."

Donahue talked about landing his first offer from the Falcons as well as his camp impressions.
"The Bowling Green camp was basically like a lot of other college one-day camps. We tested first, then went and worked with our position coaches in several drills with just helmets only. I really liked the coaches at Bowling Green quite a bit, and they seem like really good guys to play for in college. I also had a chance to check out the campus and the facilities at Bowling Green. I really like the campus. I'm also very excited to land my first offer from Bowling Green."
Donahue also admits that it's nice to land an offer from a school that features one of his former teammates.
"Pat Watson (Falcons offensive lineman) played at Naperville Central and now he's playing at Bowling Green. Pat is a really good guy and it's a nice feeling to have someone at that school that you know from back home."
Donahue is also hoping to fit in one more college camp before getting prepared for his senior season.
"My team always takes first priority for me, and I'm hoping to get a chance to camp at Western Michigan for a one-day camp in the next few weeks."
