OSU, WVU, FSU lead for LB

Cleveland (Ohio) Glenville is known for producing top Division I talent year in and year out and 2007 is no different. One player many coaches are interested in is 6-foot-2, 197-pounder, Jer'Male Hines. Currently the Ohio prospect has a handful of schools that stand out for his services.
"I'd say my favorites are Ohio State and West Virginia, but I like Florida State a lot too," he said. "Basically I like those schools because of their atmospheres, winning history and solid coaching.

"I love the coaching and atmosphere at Ohio State. I also kind of grew up a fan of them. I'm very interested in West Virginia because they are a young team that looks like they'll be good for a while. Finally, Florida State is my dream school. I grew up a big fan of them and their winning history. I kind of idolized Warrick Dunn and Peter Warrick growing up."
At the moment, Hines has four scholarship offers from West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois and Cincinnati. What is he looking for out of a school?
"Basically I just want to go to a place I can make an impact, get playing time and help them win a championship," he said. "The big thing for me is playing time because I'd really like to get on the field as a freshman. I think that could be a big factor in my decision."
As a junior, Hines earned MVP on the defense and honorable mention all-state honors after registering 97 tackles, eight sacks and four interceptions.
"My best attributes as a player are my quickness, awareness and physical ability," he said. "I think of myself as a real hard hitting linebacker."
