OSU-WV battle for two prospects

"I took a visit to West Virginia last weekend," linebacker Brandon Smith said Friday morning. "I'm going to Ohio State today. I leave about 2:00 P.M."
"I've kinda got it down between those two. Both of them offered."

"West Virginia's recruiting me as an outside linebacker. Ohio State as a 'Will' or 'Sam' linebacker."
The 6-foot-3 and 230 pound Smith made 125 tackles and intercepted three passes his senior season as Euclid, Ohio won six of ten games. Smith has a 3.4 GPA and scored a 20 on the ACT.
The Buckeyes and Mountaineers are also battling for wide receiver Brandon Barrett from Martinsburg, W.V. Barrett will announce his decision today. He too has narrowed his choices down to Ohio State and West Virginia.
