OSU made run at Baylor pledge

Richardson (Texas) Berkner defensive tackle Trey Bryant is one of the key players in the Baylor Bears' class of 2005. But that didn't stop one of their Big 12 South rivals from making a run at the three-star defensive tackle.
"He's solid to Baylor," Berkner coach Jim Ledford said. "But Oklahoma State made a solid run at him here yesterday. I guess they had a guy kicked off their team and Oklahoma State went down their board and Trey was the top defensive tackle that they wanted.

"They came in here and tried to talk him into coming to Oklahoma State, but he said that since he originally committed to Baylor, he's going to stick with that pledge."
Bryant, who is 6-foot-2 and 308 pounds, is ranked as the nation's No. 34 tackle. He is ranked as the No. 77 player in Texas by Rivals.com.
