OSU closes in on commitment from Gant

Orchard Lake (Mich.) St. Mary's defensive back Aaron Gant hasn't committed to Ohio State yet and he hasn't canceled his official visit next weekend to Michigan. But both may soon happen.
"I liked it a lot," Gant said right after returning from his visit to OSU. "I liked the environment. I liked the players. I liked everything."

Gant was hosted by Malcolm Jenkins and also spent time with Ted Ginn Jr. and Maurice Wells.
"I have Michigan scheduled next weekend," Gant said. "I don't know if I'll take it. It depends what I do. I'm thinking about committing to Ohio State. They're my favorite at the moment.
"Right now it looks good for Ohio State."
The 6-foot-0 and 200-pound Gant is being recruited by the Buckeyes as a safety. He intercepted three passes during his senior season playing outside linebacker and fullback.
