Osceola RB Looking for Another 1,500 Yard Season

Junior to Watch: Darwin Emanuel.

School: Kissimmee-Osceola.

Position: Running back and kickoff returner.

Size and Speed: Emanuel is 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. The last time he was officially timed in the forty-yard dash was during his sophomore year and he said that was a 4.35.

Honors: Emanuel made second team All-State for Class 5A last season as a junior.

Statistics: Emanuel rushed for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns last season.

Favorites: Emanuel said he did not have any favorite schools at this time.

Skinny: Osceola High School in Kissimmee is one of the state's traditional powerhouses and the Kowboys are never lacking in Division I-A talent. Emanuel, one of the top running backs in Central Florida, is already attracting the attention of college coaches. He hasn't received any offers yet, but is getting tons of mail.

"I'm getting regular mail from Florida, Miami, Florida State, North Carolina, Iowa, and Syracuse," Emanuel said. "I have a ton of letters. I am going to look at academics and how good the school is."

Emanuel said he would like to attend a football camp or two this summer, but isn't sure where yet.
