Orton says recruiting goes on

Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne wide receiver Greg Orton had plenty of scholarship offers before making a commitment to Purdue around the middle of the football season. Orton says many of the schools who offered early are still showing interest.
"The schools that were recruiting me before I committed are still recruiting me," Orton said. "Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Pitt, schools like that.

"But I'm all done. I'm not visiting anywhere else.
"I made my official visit to Purdue in September. I went to their games against Syracuse and Michigan."
Orton is ready to contribute to Joe Tiller's offense next season.
"They want me to play as a freshman," Orton said. "That's one of the reasons I chose Purdue, the opportunity to play early."
The 6-foot-4, 190-pound Orton is the No. 49 wide receiver prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 18 prospect in the state of Ohio.
Orton caught 65 passes for over 1000 yards during his senior season. He scored nine times.
