Orlando WR looks toward visits

Rivals250 wide receiver Greg Mathews of Orlando (Fla.) Edgewater has a cluster of schools at the top of his list as he prepares to take his first official visit in two weeks.
According to his mother, Lisa Mathews, Miami (Fla.), Michigan, Ohio State, N.C. State and Florida State all continue to call the 6-foot-2, 189-pounder.

"He's pretty laid back," Lisa Mathews said. "He's just trying to finish up with a good, strong season. He works pretty hard and plays pretty hard."
While multiple schools still call, it appears that two are currently in good shape for the four-star prospect's services.
The nation's No. 22 wide receiver prospect will make an official visit to Michigan the weekend of Nov. 18 for the Wolverines home game against rival Ohio State. For Greg, it will be a chance to return to the site of some success. He won the best receiver award for his performance there during the Wolverines summer camp.
Greg is being recruited by Michigan assistant head coach/wide receivers coach Erik Campbell
"Michigan has been there a long time," Lisa Mathews said. "He had a really good camp and really wants to watch that game."
She added that Miami was probably still slightly on top, but added that Greg will definitely take all five of his official visits.
Special teams coordinator/running backs coach Don Soldinger is recruiting for the Canes.
Mathews has great hands and uses his body well in traffic to make tough catches.
Playing in a run-oriented offense, he has racked up more than 700 yards and 13 touchdowns this season as Edgewater has only lost one game.
