Orlando star keeping busy

Orlando (Fla.) Evans defensive tackle/offensive lineman Abre Leggins has quietly put together a nice list of offers. More offers could be on the way if the number of schools calling him is any indication.
"Clemson, North Carolina State, Ohio, Central Florida, Michigan State and Florida are all calling me in addition to schools like Temple and Ole Miss who have already offered," Leggins said. "My coach told me that NC State had offered me, but I have not seen it in writing myself so I'm not going to count it."

The 6-foot-3, 278-pound Leggins attended the Miami NIKE camp where he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.24 seconds and ran a five second flat shuttle.
"I went to the Florida-Tennessee game a few weeks back and that was really cool," Leggins said. "It was pretty wild, it was a great atmosphere and the fans were really into the game big time. I haven't been anywhere else yet and I probably am not going anywhere this weekend."
As a junior Leggins racked up 40 tackles, eight sacks and forced two fumbles. He has a 365-pound bench press and 475-pound squat.
"Clemson, NC State, Ole Miss, Michigan State and Florida are my top schools," Leggins said. "I would say they are all pretty equal at this point. I am going to wait and take some visits before I start moving one school ahead of another."
While Leggins may be listed as a defensive tackle, that is not where he's been seeing most of his action so far this fall.
"I've been playing mostly on offense," Leggins said. "That is where the team needs me most right now. I play some on the defensive line too though. Most schools that are recruiting me are telling me that they want me for defense though."
