Orlando Speed Skill: Best of the Rest

The Rivals250 athlete narrowly missed out on making top performers after turning in a good showing at the event. He worked solely on offense, even occasionally taking reps at running back and lining up against linebackers in one-on-ones. With his speed and ability to get open in space the matchup wasn't exactly fair, and led to several victories for Charles. It's looking more like his future will be on offense as an X-factor type guy who can do exciting things with the ball in his hands. Several schools are in the mix for Charles, including Clemson and Florida State.
3
WR
Kiel Pollard
Moultrie (Ga.) Colquitt County
Pollard played for the top high school team in Georgia in 2014 and was an integral part of his school's offense. With the success he had during one-on-ones on Saturday, it's easy to see why he was such a heavily used weapon. Pollard doesn't have terrific speed, and may be a bit of a tweener between receiver and tight end, but it's hard to argue with his production, both in camp and on the field. Pollard has offers from Purdue and Boston College, among others.
4
RB
Trey Sneed
Fleming Island, Fla.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Sneed is built to be an every down back in fully padded situations, but showed an added aspect to his game during Saturday's camp. He's very quick for a player his size and he had no problem blowing by linebackers during one-on-ones. Sneed has an array of moves to use in space and his shiftiness also gave defenders problems. Sneed has several offers, including Louisville, Rutgers and UCF.
5
RB
Jacquez Williams
Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County
Williams showed great footwork during drills and a pretty good burst for a back his size. A 6-foot-2 and 200-plus pounds, Williams has been looked at to possibly play other positions at the next level, but on Saturday he looked like he has the feet and the burst to be a full-time back in college. He's currently waiting for his first offer.
6
DB
Marchalo Judge
Tampa (Fla.) Tampa Bay Tech
Judge is an undersized defensive back but he shines in coverage because of his speed and what looked like an impressive vertical. On Saturday, Judge broke up more than one pass that seemed to be thrown outside of his limited reach. There's a lot to love about the Tampa Bay Tech junior's game. And once college coaches get past his slight stature, they should be able to see a player than has plenty to offer a college team. So far, Judge's lone offer is from Illinois.
7
WR
Kee Whetzel
Clearwater (Fla.) Countryside
Whetzel is a tall, lean wide receiver who impressed during drills with his smooth movement and route-running ability. Once things got going in one-on-ones he had his share of success as well, with his combination of size and quickness helping him get the better of defensive backs. Whetzel holds one offer, courtesy of South Alabama.
8
WR
Kalen Riles
Tallahassee (Fla.) Rickards
The USF commit turned heads during one-on-ones and looks like an ideal fit as a slot receiver in a spread offense at the next level. Riles is about 5-foot-11, but has a good build and is shifty with good speed and excellent cutting ability. He's a tough cover and knows how to use his size to his advantage.
9
QB
Augie DeBiase
Neptune Beach (Fla.) Fletcher
DeBiase is a veteran of the Rivals Camp Series and he continues to develop as a quarterback as his career moves along. DeBiase drew praise from the event's quarterback coach and showed good arm strength while delivering accurate passes. DeBiase has offers from Virginia Tech and Indiana.
10
DB
Bryce Beard
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Beard was one of the day's best stories. Despite his small stature, Beard gave wide receivers fits during one-on-ones with his physicality at the line of scrimmage and made several plays on the ball down the field as well. Beard is still waiting for his first offer, but has the talent to play at the FBS level.
11
WR
Dock Luckie
Gainesville, Fla.
Luckie is quite the athlete and his lateral quickness was impressive to watch during drills. As the day wore along, he struggled a little bit and had he been more consistent catching the ball, he would have been higher on this list. It remains to be seen if Luckie is a wide receiver at the next level, or if his abilities might translate well to another position.
12
RB
Jamauri Wakefield
Jacksonville (Fla.) Providence School
At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, Wakefield is a big-bodied back who can really move for a player his size. During drills, he showed excellent footwork and a powerful running style and during one-on-ones, he has his fair share of success as well. Wakefield has recently picked up his first Power Five offer courtesy of Oregon State, and could see more come his way down the line.
13
QB
Kobie Jones
Dunnellon, Fla.
Jones grabbed on offer from Florida A&M recently and followed that up by turning a few heads in Orlando. Jones has a strong enough arm and showcased tremendous timing on out routes. His timing was doubly impressive because it was his first time working with many of his targets. Dual-threat quarterbacks like Jones don't get a chance to show off their speed in camp settings like Saturday's, but what he did show was impressive nevertheless.
14
QB
Jesse Fiske
Minneola (Fla.) Lake Minneola
Fiske's passes had an impressive pop and he has arm strength that you don't see every day. Fiske isn't the biggest prospect, but he has good enough size to play at the FBS level. Fiske is waiting on his first offer, but has received interest from UCF and FAU.
15
WR
Tyrin Summers
Clewiston, Fla.
Summers is short and shifty, but his excellent speed fit in perfectly at the aptly named Speed & Skill Challenge. The versatile athlete made what might have been the play of the day during one-on-ones when he made an excellent one-handed grab despite being pulled down by a defender. His hands are the reason several schools, including West Virginia and South Carolina, are showing interest.
16
LB
La'Bryson Dixon
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Dixon's future is likely as an inside linebacker but on Saturday he showed that he's more than capable of covering in space. He has a good build and is capable of covering a lot of ground in the open field. Dixon is still waiting for his first offer.
17
LB
Jacari Roberts
Hinesville (Ga.) Liberty County
The 6-foot-2, 233-pound Roberts hails from the same high school as former five-star linebacker Raekwon McMillan and flashed some serious potential during Saturday's event. Roberts showed the ability to run in space, recording multiple interceptions and also getting a few pass deflections. For a player his size to be able to run with running backs and cover in space is impressive and should garner him some looks from schools in the future.
18
WR
A.J. Deshazor (2017)
Lakeland (Fla) Lake Gibson
He's still an underclassman, but Deshazor impressed both in drills and in one-on-ones with his size and speed. He's still a little thin, but clearly has the frame to add weight and fill out nicely as he career moves along. Deshazor has an early offer from Virginia Tech.
