Orlando sleeper ready for season

Every year in the state of Florida prospects emerge that very few outside of a few college coaches have heard of. This year one prospect that fits that bill is Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips defensive tackle Daveon Holman.
"Daveon did not play at all last year," Phillips head coach Kevin Pettis said. "He had an injury and didn't play at all so a lot of schools aren't aware of him yet. He is going to dominate this year, he's going to raise his stock tremendously once the season starts."

Holman is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound beast who runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds, but impressed a few schools enough this spring to earn an offer.
"Some schools came down in the spring and saw him and offered him," Pettis said. "Some others have been showing him a lot of interest since that. I think he is really going to catch on once the season starts."
Holman has earned offers from Pittsburgh and Northwestern already. West Virginia and Auburn are also paying close attention to the big defensive tackle.
"He's really excited about the upcoming year," Holman said. "He missed all of last year and it was really tough on him because he wanted to be out there. Once the season begins and he has some film to send out, this kid is going to be a big name."
