Orlando area QB Getting Some Looks

Ocoee, Fla.-West Orange quarterback Kenneth Patterson is one of the better QBs in the Orlando area this year and his dad said quite a few colleges came by his high school during the May evaluation period to inquire about him.
"(West Orange) Coach Tim Smith said it was 20 or 30 schools," Mr. Patterson said. "Florida was by, Tennessee State, Wake Forest, UCF, Alabama I think... there was a bunch."

Mr. Patterson said at least six schools called this month-- among the schools who called were UCF, Army Navy, Iowa, and Lehigh.
Patterson, who is 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, is going to attend a few camps this summer.
"He's going to go to a couple of camps," Mr. Patterson said. "We're going to Alabama next week. He's taking the ACT on the 8th (of June) and I think North Carolina has a camp on the 16th. I think he'll be going to the Alabama, North Carolina, and Kentucky camps."
West Orange High School capped off spring practice with a jamboree last week at Dr. Phillips.
"He did real well," Mr. Patterson said. "I think he was 6-for-10, about 120 yards and a 60-yard touchdown pass, a fade pass. West Orange won, 7-3. He had one interception too."
