Orjioke ready for ASU official

According to 2012 athlete Kenny Orjioke of Marietta (Ga.) Lassiter, he has not yet met any members of the Arizona State coaching staff in person.
That will change this weekend.

"I'm making an official there," Orjioke told Rivals.com. "I'm looking forward to meeting the coaches and seeing the campus. I've never been there. They seem like a really good group of guys."
The Arizona State trip will be Orjioke's first official. He only has one other official set -- Dec. 10 to San Diego State. Orjioke, who is being recruited at both outside linebacker and safety (he's 6-feet-3, 215 pounds), said he does not yet have any other officials set up.
Orjioke has made unofficial visits to Georgia Tech and Ole Miss, and plans to see the Rebels again Nov. 19.
"Even though [Ole Miss] isn't having the best season, they still stick together," Orjioke said. "They have a really good recruiting class. I've met a lot of the recruits. They're all really good."
At last check, Orjioke had 13 offers, but he thinks that number will grow.
"I'm waiting until the end of the season to set up the rest of [his officials]," he said. "I should have a good end-of-season highlight tape to send out."
Right now, Orjioke claims to be "wide open." However, a few schools admittedly stand out.
"I like Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, San Diego State, Arizona State, Oregon State and UNC a lot," he said. "I've been thinking a lot lately about the decision. Feb. 1 is coming a lot faster than I thought it would be."
Playing mostly safety - and at times linebacker - Orjioke has recorded 40-plus tackles with five interceptions, "13 or 14" pass breakups and a blocked punt in 2011.
"I think I've been playing very well the last few games," Orjioke said.
