Oregon TE has two on top

The NorCal NIKE Camp back in May was loaded with talent and in particular had some very good tight ends present. One of the players who many on the NIKE staff felt had the best overall day was Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic athlete Demetrius Guice.
Guice, 6-5, 240 pounds is a tremendous athlete and opened a lot of eyes at the NIKE camp at Stanford. He's very bouncy and his ability to run and and jump were on a different level than the rest of the tight ends. He showed very good hands as well and although his route running was a little raw compared to some others, his upside was as high as anyone we saw that day.

On the recruiting front, Guice has a handful of offers but said he's basically narrowed his choices down to two schools.
"Cal and Washington are the main two schools I'm looking at," Guice said. "I have offers from both of them and I like both programs a lot right now. I don't have a leader between the two, I want to visit both of those schools and then I should have a more clear idea of where the best fit for me is.
"I like the Pac 10 and wouldn't mind staying close to home so that's why I like Cal and Washington. Both have good coaching staffs and I like the direction the programs are going in. I've already taken unofficial visits to both places so I'm pretty familiar but still want to officially visit both.
"Nebraska is another school that I want to visit and they have offered me as well. They're not as high on my list as Cal and Washington but I'm interested in them for sure and I'm looking forward to learning more about them."
