Elk River (Minn.) defensive tackle Ronald Audette committed to Oregon State on January 29, and he signed with the Beavers on National Signing Day morning. Audette was originally committed to North Dakota State, but an offer from OSU made the 6-foot-3, 295-pounder rethink his recruitment. He backed off his NDSU pledge and officially visited OSU in January. Audette also received an offer from Missouri and tripped there, but the Beavers won out for the two-way lineman.
Quotable: "The visit was awesome," Audette said following his time spent in Corvallis. "I loved all the one on one time with the coaches and building relationships with them. The facilities were great and have everything you could possibly need. The campus was pretty close together so it wouldn't take long to get anywhere on campus."
