Oregon, Oklahoma come after Broadus

Cordell Broadus is one of the top 2015 prospects in California and his recruitment has picked up even more in recent weeks.
The Diamond Bar, Calif., four-star receiver said coaches from Oregon and, surprisingly, Oklahoma stopped by the school recently and now both major programs are recruiting him.

"They did stop by but they couldn't talk to me because of the rules," Broadus said of Oregon. "Oklahoma was there before the game as well.
"(Diamond Bar) coach (Ryan) Maine talked to Oregon but we couldn't talk to them. They just said they're really interested and they're going to be on us the next couple of months. They start usually offering guys in the fall and he just told us to be patient."
Broadus had a message for the Oregon coaches - that he would be visiting for the UCLA contest in late October - and that was definitely well-received in their short conversation.
"I told him I was going up to the Oregon-UCLA game so they're really happy about that," Broadus said. "They want to see us go up there."
Broadus and fellow 2015 receiver Kanya Bell are the two top prospects at Diamond Bar and both already have impressive offer lists. With the new interest from Oklahoma, Broadus hopes even more offers could come in soon.
"That was surprising," Broadus said of the Sooners' involvement. "They never sent me a letter or anything. They just popped up at the school. I was talking to the receivers coach and he was telling me how to improve on and off the field and we were just talking football."
So far, the 2015 wide receiver has offers from Arizona State, Cal, Duke, LSU, Nebraska, Oregon State, Tennessee, USC, UCLA and Washington.
