Oregon, Ohio State latest to offer OL

The talk heading into the recruiting season was that Tony Temple of Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst would be the top recruit in the Show Me State. But when it comes to pure scholarship offers it’s going to be hard to match the numbers that Park Hill (Mo.) South standout offensive lineman Brett Gallimore is putting up.
That’s especially true when you look at the latest teams to offer.

“I’ve been offered now by Michigan, Oregon, Ohio State, Wyoming to go along with the others,” Gallimore said.
Those others include Florida State, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Minnesota and Missouri.
“About the only team that said they weren’t going to offer me was Texas,” he said. “But they said that they would definitely offer me if they were going to take linemen this season. I think Tennessee is also going to offer me soon.”
Gallimore was at the Iowa Junior Day this past weekend and spent time talking to Columbia Rock Bridge quarterback Chase Patton. It’s starting to look like Patton and Gallimore are striking up a good friendship and could eventually end up at the same place.
But both are practicing the same line early on.
“We’re keeping our options open,” Gallimore, who is 6-foot-5 and 290 pounds, said.
