Oregon looking good for Juco WR

Compton J.C. (Calif.) wide out James Finley committed to Oregon two years ago but ended up at Compton when his SAT score was red flagged. If things remain how they are right now, expect Finley to end up a Duck once more.
Finley, 6-3, 200 pounds had a visit set with Oregon State this past weekend but ended up staying home.

“I was going to go but the more I thought about it, I just didn’t see myself at Oregon State so I didn’t want to waste their time,” Finley said. “I was mainly going to watch the game with Oregon and I figured I could just stay at home and do that.
“Oregon is my leader right now and they look like they could really use some receivers. I have my trip set up there for (Dec. 3) and there’s a good chance I’ll commit to them on the visit. Oregon has been recruiting me the hardest and I have a real good relationship with Don Pellum who is the coach recruiting me from Oregon.
“There are still a few other schools I’m looking at though. I may visit Arizona this weekend because I’m looking at Arizona and Arizona State and Nevada also wants me to take a visit so I could take a trip there too.”
Finley finished the season with 65 catches for 1,008 yards and nine touchdowns. He’ll be able to graduate in December and will enroll in time for Spring practice at the school of his choice with three years to play two.
