Oregon lands Island behemoth

The Oregon Ducks picked up the committal of one of the best offensive linemen from the state of Hawaii in Pat So'oalo (6-6, 290, 5.0) from Kailua, Hawaii.
So’oalo was selected 1st-team all-state and all-league as a senior. He already has D-I size and quickness. The thing that interested D-I colleges is he isn’t even close to his potential.

Hawaii also offered this behemoth a ride but they couldn’t get a visit date together. The Warriors originally had So’oalo scheduled for a visit on December 20th but he couldn’t go on that visit because he hadn’t taken his SAT.
Hawaii would have loved to keep this one at home but the Ducks get the nod here.
Oregon wins the services of the talented So’oalo over Hawaii, Washington State and Alabama.
Nice get for the Ducks.
