Oregon bounce back draws looks

There is a bounce back from the Oregon Ducks who is getting some recruiting attention in Alex Mercier (6-1, 185, 4.4) from Pasadena (Calif.) City College (PCC). He is a December graduate so he will be able to participate in spring ball.
While Mercier was at Oregon he recorded the third best shuttle time in the school’s history. That equates into being football fast.

“Alex is a great route runner,” PCC coach Tom Maher said. “He’s very instinctive on the field.”
“Alex is talented on and off the field,” Maher said. “Besides being an excellent football player, he’s an outstanding musician.”
On the gridiron, Mercier had 27 receptions for 393 yards and one touchdown. His one touchdown was a 64 yard jaunt. Mercier averages 14.7 yards per catch.
Tulsa and Louisiana Lafayette are in the process of setting up visits. Purdue, SMU and Toledo have also shown interest in Mercier.
The Northern Arizona Lumberjacks just called this past week and are heating up their recruitment of Mercier.
Mercier has two years to play two and has D-I experience.
