Oregon athlete lands first offer

Eugene (Ore.) Sheldon two way standout Curtis White will be one of the top prospects in the NW region next year. The athlete has one offer on the table and said four schools top his list right now.
White, 6-5, 240 pounds had a nice season on both sides of the ball last season and could play either side in college as well. He earned all-league honors at both tight end and defensive end and helped Sheldon to a 12-1 record and a state title as well.

On the recruiting front, White is being recruited by the majority of the Pac 10 and his first offer comes from the school right in his own backyard.
"Oregon has offered me already," White said. "I grew up a fan of Oregon so that was exciting getting the offer from them and they are my top school right now.
"I also like USC, UCLA and Oregon State. I'm hearing from most of the Pac 10 right now and I'm also being recruited in basketball as well. Right now, I'm planning to go through the recruiting process and will attend the NIKE Camp in Oregon in June. I'm not sure about the rest of my summer camp plans right now."
