Orangemen get top WR commitment

One of New Jersey's top players is ready to commit. JJ Bedle of Keyport, N.J. is going to end the recruiting battle when he commits to Syracuse today.
The 5-foot-11, 180-pound three-star wide receiver felt it was time to end the recruiting process.

"I have eight offers right now, but I just felt comfortable with Syracuse when I took an unofficial visit," he said. "It was just the right fit and they recruited me the hardest from the start."
So far this season, JJ leads the Jersey Shore Conference in pass receptions and yards. Through eight games he has 36 catches for 590 yards with seven touchdowns.
The dynamic wideout will also make an excellent return man at the next level. He has a 95-yard kickoff return for a score and two punt returns for touchdowns as well. He has excellent speed and tremendous leaping ability and also is a very good cover corner.
JJ has helped lead Keyport to an 8-0 record heading into the state playoffs this Saturday.
Besides Syracuse, Bedle had offers from Duke, Indiana, Temple, Rutgers, Colorado and others. He was also receiving strong interest from Boston College, Virginia Tech and Michigan State.
