Orange Lu has another prospect

Orange (Calif.) Lutheran has four legitimate D-I prospects on their roster out of the class of 2007. Everyone is well aware of quarterback sensation Aaron Corp and defensive end/tight end Michael Reardon. Rivals.com introduced you to Austin Pettis to you earlier this week. The Lutheran Lancers have another prospect to keep your eye on.
The other Orange (Calif.) player to keep an eye is offensive tackle Fernando Guzaino (6-5, 275, 5.1).

Guzaino is another Lancer player who is considered a sleeper because he, like Pettis, had to sit out his junior season with an injury. He had his kneecap displaced in the third game last season.
"Fernando probably could have hobbled through the season, but the doctors and our program decided to have season ending surgery for his long term welfare," Lutheran coach Jim Kunau said. "He's now back at 100 percent and a big season is expected out of him."
"Fernando is a very smart football player," Kunau said. "He's a very quiet, humble young man, who is a tough, physical competitor. Fernando epitomizes the old saying walk softly, but carry a big stick."
"Fernando has good feet and long arms that helps him keep opponents at bay," Kunau said. "He does a good job against both type of players he ends up blocking against."
"Whether he's up against the quicker rush end type player or a guy who is more your physical bull rusher type of guy," Kunau said. "He gets the job done."
"Fernando will have to be recruited off senior film, but he is getting mail from Oregon and Washington," Kunau said. "I think interest in Fernando will definitely pick up after his first few games during his senior season."
