Orange impresses Texas WR

Arlington (Texas) Bowie wide receiver Brandon Belvin took what may be his last official visit this weekend.

“My trip to Syracuse went real good,” the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Belvin said. “Everything was amazing. The academics are a big thing there and the football program is perfect.”

The visit was so good, the two-star rated receiver may not take a planned official visit to Purdue this coming weekend.

“I don’t know if I’ll take a visit this weekend or not. I might visit Purdue, San Jose State, UCLA or TCU this next weekend. They are all trying to get me to visit. I’ll know Tuesday night if I’ll visit somewhere and which one it will be. They are either calling or coming by. TCU and San Jose State are coming by the house. The others will be calling.”

Despite the scheduled talks with coaches, Belvin could have a decision before they get the chance to state their cases.

“I’ll know tomorrow morning where I am going,” he said. “Syracuse and Utah are at the top. If I had to announce today, it would be Syracuse.”
