OQuinn talks offers, leader

Vandergrift (Pa.) Kiski Area School wide receiver James O'Quinn holds two Division I offers from Buffalo and Toledo. The 6-foot-2, 170-pounder has been on the verge of a BCS offer for some time. Where does he stand with those schools now?
"Connecticut, Pittsburgh and North Carolina are still on the border," he said. "They are talking to me once in awhile. They actually talk to my coach more about offering me. I think they are waiting to get a highlight tape and for me to come up for a visit."

At this time, the two-star prospect hasn't scheduled any visits.
Is there a leader for O'Quinn?
"Not really anymore," he said. "If anyone, I'd say Akron because it's close to home. I like their school and facilities. They haven't offered either."
O'Quinn and Kiski Area finished the season 5-5. Despite his teams struggled, the Keystone State prospect finished with 32 catches for 610-yards and six touchdowns along with one interception on defense.
"I think I was more explosive this year and played better. Last year was my first playing varsity and this year was a real big difference for me."
