OQuinn on the verge of a BCS offer

Wide receiver James O'Quinn out of Vandergrift (Pa.) Kiski Area School holds offers from Buffalo and Toledo. But at least a handful of BCS schools are starting to move in and one may be close to offering the 6-foot-2, 170-pounder.
"I've got the offers from Buffalo and Toledo," he said. "Recently North Carolina and Connecticut have started talking to me along with Pittsburgh some more.

"My coach actually told me that Pittsburgh was planning on offering me, but they didn't want to pull the trigger yet. It seems like it could be likely."
Despite the increased interest, O'Quinn hasn't begun to consider visits of any kind.
Meanwhile, the two-star prospect is putting together a big season.
"Our team is doing ok, but I think I'm doing real good," he said. "I'm averaging 20-yards per catch and have 25 receptions for 505-yards and four touchdowns. I did that in about five games. I had to miss two.
"This is only my second year playing on the field and this season I'm not afraid. I'm going out and making plays. Last year I was more timid."
