OQuinn claims two favorites

Vandergrift (Pa.) Kiski Area School wide receiver James O'Quinn continues to hold two offers. However, the 6-foot-2, 170-pounder is hearing from a handful of other colleges. Is anyone else close to offering?
"I've got offers from Buffalo and Toledo," he said. "I'm hearing from Syracuse, Akron, Pittsburgh, Eastern Michigan, Purdue and Northwestern. They say the usual stuff. They are waiting to see what I do this season in the first couple games.

"Since Josh Vick went down last year, I was hurt by that and nobody has been jumping on board yet."
Currently O'Quinn is favoring two colleges.
"My favorites are Toledo and Pittsburgh," he said. "Pittsburgh is up there because it's close to home and my mom is a single mom. She can't do all that traveling.
"Toledo is a bit more of a new look. They have a nice school and I like their history of winning."
Right now, the two-star prospect is preparing for this season in hopes to impress coaches.
"I'm just going to football practice and doing seven-on-sevens," he said. "The only team we lost to in those was Gateway. I've been doing well. I'm usually double teamed, but my ability has improved particularly getting off the line and strength. I cut my routes better too and I do have a quarterback now."
