Oquendo looking at eight schools

Hackensack, N.J. athlete Danny Oquendo has a list of schools he's looking at, but that doesn't mean he's narrowed things down too much. Who's still on Oquendo's radar?
"I'm looking at schools like Rutgers, Maryland, Virginia tech, Pittsburgh, NC State, Syracuse, Virginia and Boston College," said Oquendo. "Right now I'm thinking that I might like to try to stay close to home if I can. But if I really fall in love with a school that's a good distance from home, especially if it's on the east coast, I'll think hard about it."
The 6-foot-3, 175-pound safety/wide receiver runs the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds.
"Michigan has come by my school to check me out and everything," he said. "I was up at Rutgers recently, and hopefully I'll be able to visit or camp at several of the schools I listed as my favorites. I'm also interested in Penn State, but maybe not quite as much as the others."
Oquendo currently has scholarship offers from Maryland, Penn State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech, and is sure to see more roll in the near future.
