Options expanding for Mullen

MIAMI-- A Rivals250 prospect, Trayvon Mullen's offer list reflects his standing as one of the nation's best 2016 defensive backs. It's long and getting more distinguished by the day.
The most recent additions to fold? TCU and Illinois. And while the Coconut Creek (Fla.) High School defensive back is thankful for both new offers, he admits that one seems more intriguing than the other.

"TCU has my interest a little bit," Mullen said on Saturday. "They like me a lot, and I just like they're style and things like that. I like them."
Despite his interest in TCU and his love for a host of other schools present on his long list of scholarship offers, Mullen remains as undecided as prospects come. Favorites? None. A list of frontrunners ? Not quite yet.
That stuff will come later.
"I don't really have standouts right now," Mullen said. "There's just too many of them right now."
Mullen will, however, entertain a conversation about which schools are recruiting him the most aggressively. The list he cites isn't particularly short or discerning. But, hey, it's something.
"It's probably LSU, Alabama, TCU, Ohio State, Florida, Florida State, Indiana and South Carolina," he said.
Mullen's offseason travel plans are coming together slowly. No dates have been nailed down, and destinations are still begin finalized. Still, a rough draft exists. It's one he doesn't mind sharing.
"I know I want to go to Ole Miss, TCU and Notre Dame for sure, but I don't know when," he said.
Despite his early list and his accelerated recruitment, Mullen plans to wait to announce a commitment until sometime during his senior season.
